Board & Training

Our board and training programs are designed for your dog to learn new skills, amplify good qualities, correct behavior issues & practice proper socialization. The dogs will live with your trainer for a minimum of 21 days and work on accomplishing our goals.

All dogs are living in the “Dog House” while being trained. Each individual dog will be kenneled while unsupervised and overnight (bedtime). Kennel training is included with every board & training program.

Every dog with aggression issues will be muzzled for safety. We highly recommend muzzle training your dog prior to being dropped off for the board and train. We will send you video information on how to properly accomplish this. PDS will muzzle train at an additional cost, but keep in mind it is usually safer and more stress free for a dog to go through this with their owner.

Board & Training Includes:

• Professional Tools ~ prong collar, off-leash collar (aka stimulation/e-collar) & reinforced safety leash ($400 value)

• Two 90 minute go home lessons ($300 value)

• One 60 minute lesson, 2 weeks after going home ($90 value)

• Bath and nail trim ($70 value)

Guidelines

• 3 weeks - For dogs having a “mild” temperament with NO fear, aggression, high reactivity or anxiety. We will work on accomplishing our goals and creating a solid foundation for owners to build off.

• 4 weeks - For dogs having a “mild” temperament, we will work on our goals & more advanced skills. This is also the program for fearful rehabilitation. For dogs with considerable fear and/or anxiety, we will work on our goals & focus on confidence boosting specifically.

• 5 weeks - For dogs that fall in between the 4 & 6 week programs.

• 6 weeks - This is the program for aggressive rehabilitation and highly reactive dogs. For dogs that show considerable signs of aggression and/or have committed any number of bites on dogs and/or humans. We will work on our goals and focus on aggression/reactivity specifically.
