Boarding

Boarding at PDS means treating your dog like family!

For dogs that have previously completed training with PDS, boarding includes any upkeep on each dog’s individual goals accomplished in their graduated training program. For previously trained dogs, boarding also includes pack socialization (for dogs who qualify) at no additional cost.

Boarding IS available for first time clients, who have not previously trained with PDS. We can accommodate special needs, aggressive dogs and dogs who are not kennel trained. FREE bath & nail trim for all dogs that board 7 days or more. Pack socialization is only offered to dogs that HAVE previously trained with PDS.

The “Dog House”

This area of Pack Dog Social replicates a home environment, free of stress. We keep our intake small, so that each dog is cared for and given proper individual attention. There are no loud noises or excessive barking that could occur in a kennel type facility. Senior dogs and dogs under 15 lbs. are boarded in the main living area of PDS to alleviate using the stairs and to keep a closer eye on them.

Safety precautions are a #1 priority such as:

• Zip ties and carabiners on kennels (to ensure there is no risk of escaping & causing injury)

• Cameras throughout the indoor and outdoor areas (so each dog can be checked up on, at any time, by trainer)

• Leashed dogs (to ensure safety for trainers & dogs. Also, to promote consistent behavioral guidance)

• Fenced in yard (with no breaks or ways to escape, long lines are used when necessary)

• Proper sanitization (on a frequent basis & after each dog goes home)

• Bathing area (with non-slip bath pad & attached slip leash to limit anxiety & escaping, causing injury)
